Alisa DJing
I brought Alisa to DJ gig Saturday night. It is an annual overnight party for a swim team in San Jose (and a fun annual gig for BIG FUN Disc Jockeys, too!). Since there were going to be over 100 kinds ranging in age from 5-18 and had been told to anticipate a lot of requests, I thought Alisa would be great to have along. She could help talk to the kids about their requests and provide input on music.
Since we were gong to be playing music for 4 hours, I thought it’d be fun for her to actually pick some music, cue it up, and then do the fades from one song to the next. She was good at it and had a great time. Lucikly, she brought along her camera so I snapped a couple of pictures.
The room was pretty dark and the lights were looking good through the fog. This picture makes it look lighter than it really was because of the flash. (Click the picture to see a larger version.)
