2 columnists, 2 opinions
TSo, Mike Nolan was fired today.
Checking SFGat.com, I came across a few columns about it.
In the first one I read, Ray Ratto wrote:
But choosing Monday rather than the bye week to make the change suggests that this was a knee-jerk decision based on public dissatisfaction rather than a measured plan for the future. In other words, same as it ever was.
The next SFGate.com column I read was by Nancy Gay. She said:
In an uncharacteristic move for the 49ers’ extremely deliberate ownership, Mike Nolan was told to clear out following his Monday news conference after too little progress and no sign whatsoever that the 49ers were on a positive track.
Pretty diverging opinions.
